It's Time to Plan Your First Spring Ride!

While the Cold Sets in, Set Your Sights on Your Spring Plans.

Winter is setting in and the holidays are near. You may have put up your Harley for the season but are most likely already dreaming of the first spring ride. Here are some Iowa destinations that you can look forward to in the spring.

The Great River Road

If you love a scenic drive, The Great River Road truly delivers. Designated as an All American Road, The Great River Road follows the Mississippi River for 3,000 miles through 10 states. As it passes through Iowa you can expect beautiful views that only the Mississippi River can provide as well as great stops along the way such as the National Mississippi River Museum in Dubuque, IA,

The Bridges of Madison County

The covered Bridges of Madison County are historic landmarks most known for their appearance in the Clint Eastwood movie, "The Bridges of Madison County". There are six bridges that still remain, and they are open 24/7. A true representation of the Iowa heartland, these historic landmarks make a great place to visit on your spring ride.

The Field of Dreams

America's favorite pastime is in all its splendor on a field in Dyersville, IA. You can visit the Field of Dreams in person in this quiet, small town just west of Dubuque, IA, and the ride to get there is a peaceful, rural one with true country views along the way. This ride is one to remember.

The Quad Cities

The Quad Cities borders the Mississippi River and has plenty of great cuisine, shopping, and local parks to visit. Take a ride over the new I-74 bridge and visit the oculus, or visit one of many great local parks such as Credit Island. There is plenty to see and do while you enjoy a spring ride along the Mississippi.
